3. Golfing
Henderson is home to two excellent public golf courses, Chimera Golf Club and Reflection Bay Golf Club. Chimera: The course is always in excellent condition. The views are of the Las Vegas Strip and the nearby rugged mountains. The generous fairways make Chimera a better choice for the higher handicap players. Their restaurant, Slice 19, is a wonderful place for a post round meal and a couple of drinks after. Lake Las Vegas: Just like Chimera, it is always in excellent condition. The course wanders thru the canyons of Henderson with some spectacular holes along the waterfront of Lake Las Vegas itself. This course is a bit more challenging and best suited for the lower handicap players.
