Barbara Kennedy, a Lake Las Vegas and Henderson resident, is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of successful senior corporate leadership experience at the President and CEO level of major hospital and healthcare organizations in Arizona and California. After leading her busy California hospital through the Covid pandemic, she and her husband Mike Kennedy decided to make a major life change and moved to their “forever home” Henderson, and specifically Lake Las Vegas where they have lived for nearly four years. Soon after arriving in Lake Las Vegas, Barbara took a break from corporate America and opened a women’s fashion boutique, Apricot Lane, in the Village of Lake Las Vegas. Barbara has successfully built her boutique brand where excellence in customer service, philanthropy and giving back to the community has been a cornerstone for her and husband Mike. Barbara has decided to use her business expertise to now pursue the Real Estate profession, joining the successful Trish Nash Team at Desert Elegance. Barbara has a personal style that is deeply rooted in servant leadership and takes pride in establishing deep roots and long-standing relationships in the communities she serves. Barbara and Mike have five adult children between them and three beautiful grandchildren. Barbara, a native Tucsonan, earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in Accounting and Finance and holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from California College of Health Sciences in San Diego.
